An-Nasr  - The Help

Verse 2

Arabic:

ﻭَﺭَﺃَﻳْﺖَ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱَ ﻳَﺪْﺧُﻠُﻮﻥَ ﻓِﻲ ﺩِﻳﻦِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺃَﻓْﻮَﺍﺟًﺎ

Transliteration:

Wa ro aitan naasa yad khuluuna fii dii nillahi afwaaja

Meaning:
2. And you see that the people enter Allah's religion in crowds.

MEMORISATION TIPS

Memorising the Qur'an is a serious project that must be planned for and not left to chance.

Learn a Verse seeks to motivate memorisations but it can't cater for some aspects because we are online and not physically together.

The following tips are suggestions that can help make up for the constraints observed.

1. Don't leave the memorisation to chance. Plan a specific time and dedicate it to memorising new verses and revising the ones you've memorised previously. People recommend early in the morning. Choose a time that's right for you.

2. Learn to read in Arabic if you don't know how. The transliteration cannot fully capture how you should recite the Qur'an.

3. Learn tejweed. Very important.

4. Record yourself with your phone and listen to it. Compare it to the reciter's recitation and make amends.

5. Get a family member, friend or teacher to listen to you.

6. Use the learnt verses in your salat and nawafil.

7. Avoid sins as they debar memorisation.
